ESQK Appointed To Neustar

On September 8, 2006, the FCC appointed the Neustar Pooling Administrator to serve as the Interim Routing Number Authority (IRNA) for the pseudo Automatic Number Identification (p-ANI) codes which are used for routing emergency calls for Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) services. Neustar will administer these resources in accordance with the pANI Interim Assignment Guidelines for ESQK and at the direction of the FCC. This assignment is temporary in nature until a permanent p-ANI solution is in place, or the expiration of Neustar’s performance as the Pooling Administrator, or further notice from the FCC, whichever occurs first.

Request for p-ANI Assignment Information – p-ANI Users
On 7/19/2011, the Interim RNA sent a notice requesting that any entity (including wireless, VoIP Positioning Center (VPC), Mobile Positioning Center (MPC), or interconnected VoIP providers) that is using any non-dialable p-ANIs (whether self-assigned or assigned by another entity) report on all of its non-dialable p-ANIs using the Initial Report (Excel 2007 format) provided. Please submit only one Initial Report (file) per OCN; if you submit more than one Initial Report (file) using the same OCN, it will override your prior Initial Report submission. When naming your file, use the following file naming convention: “OCN.mmddyyyy”, the date should be the date the Initial Report is submitted. Please send this Initial Report to esqksupport@neustar.biz between 10/01/2011-10/31/2011.

Request for p-ANI Assignment Information – p-ANI Assignors
On 8/15/2011, the Interim RNA sent a notice requesting that any entity that has assigned any non-dialable p-ANIs (out of the 211 NXX or 511 NXX) report on the assignments made using the report (Excel 2007 format) provided. Click here to access this report.

When naming your file, use the following file naming convention: “CompanyName.mmddyyyy”, the date should be the date the report is submitted. Please send this report to esqksupport@neustar.biz between 11/01/2011-11/30/2011.
